Peter Doherty zou zondagavond optreden in het Live At Amsterdamse Bos theater in Amsterdam.. Het optreden werd op het laatste moment afgelast omdat Pete zijn paspoort was verloren en, volgens zijn zeggen, niet mocht reizen van de politie in Dublin. Veel fans waren al in Amsterdam toen het nieuws pas doordrong. Zij dropen teleurgesteld af.
Het officiele statement luidde:
‘Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres have been forced to cancel their appearance tonight at Bostheater in Amsterdam. This is due to the loss of Peter’s passport after the bands show in Belfast last night. It was hoped that after reporting the loss of the passport to the police in Dublin that Peter would be allowed to fly, but unfortunately this has not been the case as the immigration department in Ireland has denied Peter access to the Netherlands. Peter is very upset and apologies whole heartedly to all his fans for the cancellation.’
